Cancellation Policy

General Driver Cancellation Rule

Cancellation of a daily booking before the initial start date will be fully refunded. Refund will be processed within 48 hours, and the amount will be deposited on your credit card within the next 5 to 7 business days.

Cancellation of a daily booking after the initial start date will not be refunded.

Cancellation of a weekly booking before the initial start date will be refunded minus 1 day. Refund will be processed within 48 hours, and the amount will be deposited on your credit card within the next 5 to 7 business days.

Cancellation of a monthly booking before the initial start date be refunded minus 2 days. Refund will be processed within 48 hours, and the amount will be deposited on your credit card within the next 5 to 7 business days.

If for any reason the parking owner cancels the booking, the driver will receive a full refund. The driver will immediately be advised and the refund will be processed within 48 hours. Refund will be deposited on the driver’s credit card within the next 5 to 7 business days.

If the driver is unable to park due to circumstances beyond his control (spot is occupied or not accessible), driver must email Urbispot as soon as possible at booking@urbispot.ca with a detailed explanation (a picture of the spot could be attached to the email). We will review the situation and contact both parties to find an immediate resolution. This situation will be considered as a cancellation from the owner, and the driver will be refunded in the next 5 to 7 business days following Urbispot’s confirmation.

All complaints must be brought to our attention within 24 hours after the booking starts.

Urbispot offers recurring payments for Weekly and Monthly booking. Payment occurs every Monday for Weekly bookings and on the 1st of the month for Monthly bookings. Drivers must provide an acceptable notice to cancel the recurring payments:

  • Weekly: a minimum of 1 week notice
  • Monthly: a minimum of 1 month notice

The payment is stopped only when the driver receives a confirmation from Urbispot. Any dispute will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
